Sony Alpha DSLR- A850 Camera strap Replacement

Introduction

If your Sony Alpha DSLR-A850 camera strap is worn out or broken, use this speedy guide to replace it with a new one. A new strap prevents accidental drops and ensures safe handling whilst photographing.

Before beginning, find a clear, flat surface to work on and power off the camera. This will help to avoid any accidental damage during the replacement process. Unpackage your new camera strap and have it ready for installment.

    • Locate strap of camera.

    • There is a buckle on either side of the strap.

    • Pick one side of the strap to start on.

    • With thumb push the short end of the strap through the buckle creating a loop.

    • Pull on the loop until the strap comes out of one end of the buckle.

    • Pull strap from the other side of the buckle until it is completely removed from the buckle.

    • Hold retaining clamp and pull strap through it.
