In this guide, you'll learn how to soft reset your HTC Fortress. This technique requires some dismantling of the device, and use of the stylus.

Slide the back cover of the device upward. You may need to remove the phone stylus first.

Take off the back cover.

Locate the red "reset" button on the side of the phone directly opposite of the volume up button.

Press the reset button with the phone stylus or any other small object. Your phone will now reset.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
