What you need

    • Remove the two Phillips screws (red) under the display area.

    • Release the four clips (green) on the sides (push to the side with a flat-blade screwdriver)

    • Then lift off the cover with the contacts for measuring the body fat

    • If only the kick buttons are involved, this step will not be necessary.

    • Remove the two screws holding the circuit board (yellow). The circuit board can now be lifted off.

    • Remove the 6 screws (green) holding the display and simply lift off the display.

    • The contacts can now be cleaned

    • The kick switch, which turns the display on, is located on the blue cable

    • Unhook the two springs from the hooks

    • The metal cover can now be lifted off

    • Check the two kick switches connected to the blue cable (blue boxes), e.g. by simply short-circuiting the connection on the circuit board (red arrow) (with the battery connected). If the display then shows something, the problem has been found.

    • In my case, I had to bent the two contact lugs a little (one broke off - but the other seems to be sufficient)

Work through the steps in reverse order to reassemble your device.
