Before opening the LCR-Reader, place a small bit of tape over the button on the top housing. This will keep the button from falling loose and being lost.
Start by removing the 4 screws in the back of the device using a size 00 Philips screw driver.
Gently open the zif connector that holds the screen.
Insert the replacement screen, and close the zif
When closing the housing, make sure the screen fits into the rectangle on the top.
If the screen is not in this rectangle, it may become damaged when the screws are tightened
Hold the screen in place from below; line up the button's edge of the top housing to line up with the bottom housing. Slide your finger out as you bring the top and bottom housings to meet.
Replace the 4 Philips screws in the back.
