What you need

Pull the black end cover on the motor off and set aside.

Remove the hose by unscrewing it from the motor.

Set the pressure gauge and hose aside,

Unplug the black cord connected to the top of the motor.

Remove the motor.

Ask FixBot
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I burnt my slime rechargeable compressor, model 40028. Do you know if the dc motor is the same for all models. Or, will I have to look at the motor once I get it out.
I have since opened my slime air compressor, removed the motor and there are no markings on it for a model number or identifying features.
