If the headphones display faulty symptoms, removing the mother board should be the last step in troubleshooting. Some issues could be caused by liquid damage, physical damage, or any software issue that needs to be fixed by replacing the motherboard.

What you need

  1. Sennheiser Momentum Wireless M2 AEBT Motherboard Replacement, Earmuff: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Grab the earmuffs with one hand and hold the headphones with the other.

    • Using a soldering iron, remove all the wires attached to the motherboard and other components.

    • Finally, remove the blue ribbon plugged into the motherboard.

    • Make sure to do this using tweezers, so as to avoid any damage to the fragile ribbon.
