Introduction

Replacing a dying battery will increase the amount of time the netbook can be powered on without being plugged in. A dead battery will also cause the computer to not power on when it is not plugged in.

  1. Turn off the computer.
    • Turn off the computer.

    • Disconnect the charger cable from the computer.

    • Failure to disconnect the charger cable from the computer could result in an electric shock.

    • Flip the computer over so the underside is facing up.

  2. Slide the left and right slider buttons fully away from each other. Slide the left and right slider buttons fully away from each other.
    • Slide the left and right slider buttons fully away from each other.

  3. Pull the battery out of the computer.
    • Pull the battery out of the computer.
