Samsung NP N310 HAA2US Hard Drive Replacement

Introduction

Replace or upgrade your Samsung NP N310 HAA2US hard drive with any compatible hard drive. A new hard drive can give a user more space and also provide better performance.

What you need

  1. Samsung NP N310 HAA2US Hard Drive Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 3 Samsung NP N310 HAA2US Hard Drive Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 2 of 3 Samsung NP N310 HAA2US Hard Drive Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Make sure the laptop is powered off, and unplugged before removing the battery.

    • Slide the battery switch to the unlock symbol, and the battery will pop up.

    • Remove the battery.

    • Locate, and unscrew the 11 Phillips 8mm back cover screws, and 1 Phillips 5mm screw on the RAM cover. Use a #1 Philips screw driver to remove the screws.

    • If there are rubber pads covering the screws, use a spudger to remove the rubber pads.

    • Insert the plastic opening tool in the break between the back panel, and the keyboard.

    • Drag the opening tool around the edge to separate it.

    • Pull the back panel off of the laptop.

    • Unscrew the 3 Phillips 3.5 mm screws. Use a size 1 Phillips screwdriver.

    • Lift the hardrive.

    • Pull the hard drive out.
