Introduction
This guide will show users how to remove their phone's back cover, exposing many of the inside parts. It will then show readers how to replace a faulty camera.
What you need

Slide the back cover off the back of the phone to reveal the battery.

Place a finger in one or both of the indents by the bottom of the battery. Then pull out to remove the battery from the phone.

Identify and remove the 6 screws on the rear case of the phone.

Use a spudger to peel back the green processing chip, exposing the wires underneath. Identify the thin golden band which connects the camera to the rest of the phone.

Using the spudger, separate the golden band from its resting dock. It should come apart fairly easily, like undoing a bit of velcro. Once separated, the camera should slide out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
