Using a plastic opening tool, go around the edges of the rubber bottom. Insert the same tool under the edge of the rubber and swivel side to side. Continue moving it forward while peeling the plastic off with the precision tweezers. Using a plastic opening tool, go around the edges of the rubber bottom. Excellent instructional only addition is to be careful with the rubber pad and adhesive tape do not use sharp tool that could get between adhesive and rubber pad… Lay pad on a clean dust dirt fuzz free surface as you will need this to re-adhere to the base when I did mine It was so adhered I thought I was doing something wrong. No worry with patience and persistence it does reluctantly come off.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow all the instructions in the reverse order. Use adhesive to stick the rubber back onto the bottom of the device.
