Introduction
If your phone doesn't have a compatible USB port or if the USB connector breaks, use this guide to swap the connector out for a new one. The Samsung Gear VR can hold a USB Type-C or Micro USB. This guide requires no tools.

Push the switch on the right-hand side of the device to separate the cover from the main body.

Pull the cover away from the main device.

Slide the gray switch to the right to unlock the USB connector.

Lift the connector perpendicular to the device.

Slide off the USB connector gently with your fingers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
