Introduction

This guide will show how to remove the Front LCD Screen of the Samsung DV300F.

Parts

No parts required.

First remove the two black 4.2mm screws on the right side of the camera by using a Phillips #0 screwdriver. Next remove the two black 4.2mm screws on the left side of the camera by using a Phillips #0 screwdriver. Finally remove the black 4.2mm screws on the bottom of the camera by using  a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
  • First remove the two black 4.2mm screws on the right side of the camera by using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  • Next remove the two black 4.2mm screws on the left side of the camera by using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  • Finally remove the black 4.2mm screws on the bottom of the camera by using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Take off the back case of the camera. Take off the back case of the camera.
  • Take off the back case of the camera.

Take off the front case of the camera gently Take off the front LCD gently, so the front casing is completely free Take off the front LCD gently, so the front casing is completely free
  • Take off the front case of the camera gently

  • Take off the front LCD gently, so the front casing is completely free

Remove the back button control from its nesting Pull the tape connection to disconnect the back button control from the rest of the camera
  • Remove the back button control from its nesting

  • Pull the tape connection to disconnect the back button control from the rest of the camera

Remove the Back LCD screen from its nest.
  • Remove the Back LCD screen from its nest.

Flip the black tab where the Back LCD screen connects to the circuit board Pull the tape connection to disconnect the Back LCD screen from the circuit board
  • Flip the black tab where the Back LCD screen connects to the circuit board

  • Pull the tape connection to disconnect the Back LCD screen from the circuit board

First unscrew the 3 silver 4.5mm  screws with the Phillips #0 screwdriver from the circuit board cover. Then remove the circuit board cover.
  • First unscrew the 3 silver 4.5mm screws with the Phillips #0 screwdriver from the circuit board cover.

  • Then remove the circuit board cover.

First flip the black tab where the front LCD screen connects to the circuit board. Then pull the tape connection to disconnect the front LCD screen from the circuit board. You can do this easily with your fingers.
  • First flip the black tab where the front LCD screen connects to the circuit board.

  • Then pull the tape connection to disconnect the front LCD screen from the circuit board.

    • You can do this easily with your fingers.

  • Finally pull the front LCD screen from the front of the camera to remove it.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
