Samsung Chromebook 2 Key Cap Replacement

Introduction

If one of your keys is no longer working, follow this guide and learn how to successfully replace a broken key cap or gain access to clean underneath it.

What you need

  1. Samsung Chromebook 2 Key Cap Replacement, Key Cap: step 1, image 1 of 2 Samsung Chromebook 2 Key Cap Replacement, Key Cap: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Using a plastic opening tool, place it beneath the key in question and pry it off.

    • Remove the key fully from the board.

    • Place a new key in the same orientation as the other keys.

    • Use your index finger to apply pressure onto the key until it clicks into place.
