Samsung Blast Motherboard Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to replace the motherboard of a Samsung Blast. This guide will take you through the process of how to successfully remove and replace the motherboard. A motherboard may need replacement if the device stops working.

What you need

    • Remove the battery cover by pushing it upwards.

    • Take out the battery.

    • With a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the six screws that secure the back of the case.

    • You will not be able to completely remove the top two screws. Simply loosen them enough that you can still remove the cover.

    • Pull off the back cover of the phone.

    • Remove the volume and camera buttons by pulling them out.

    • Put the buttons aside until it is time to reassemble the phone.

    • Use the small plastic opening tool to gently remove the motherboard from the rest of the phone.

    • Gently grab the motherboard with tweezers, then disconnect it from the two attached plates.
