Remove the back panel of the device by taking out the seven screws on the back panel of the device. Four of the screws are under the rubber feet so they will need to be removed.  To remove the feet, pry them off with the spudger.

Remove the two screws holding in the CPU fan.  They can be shown circled in picture two. Lift the CPU fan.  You might encounter some resistance from the thermal paste on the heatsink. Detach the cord attached to the fan and attach it to the new CPU fan.  The point where the cord connects to the board is highlighted in picture three.  Insert the new fan and reassemble the device.
