    • Remove the Hockey Player from the rod.

    • Use one hand to grab a player, then Pull up.

    • Use the other hand as support to help you pull up.

    • Flip the hockey table upside down.

    • Use two hands, and be careful not to slam the table.

    • Grip the yellow part of the rod with one hand.

    • With the other hand grip close to where the rod is on the table.

    • Pull the table to the left and pull the yellow part of the rod to the right.

    • At this point one of the two sides of the rod should unfasten.

    • Pull the yellow part in the opposite direction from the side snapped onto the table.

    • Remove the black nub at the end of the rod.

    • Pull the rest of the rod through the hole.

    • Remember to keep the black nub in a safe place.

    • Place rod flat on the table.

    • Turn the rod around to find the part of the rod that is bent. Use the table as reference.

    • Bend the rod against table to straighten out. This may take a while to fully fix.

    • Once the rod is straightened, you can now reinsert the rod back in.

    • Insert the rod underneath the black stretches of the table.

    • Remember to insert the rod with yellow side facing away from where the rod has to be inserted.

    • Remember to place the rod between the two poles; they're used for reference to tell you where to go.

    • Put the white pole used to place the hockey player on top through the hole.

    • Pull on one of the ridges on each side of the hole and snap a side of the yellow piece onto it.

    • Repeat for the other side.

    • Bring the rod through hole and place the black nub back on.

    • Place the player back on the hockey table.

Conclusion

If the rod is completely broken, you should be able to purchase a new rod online. To install it, follow this guide but skip step 5.
