    • Push the gray slider forward to unlock the locking tabs.

    • Remove the dust bin from the vacuum.

    • Press the black tabs on the sides of the paper filter to release and remove it.

    • Reach into the dustbin and pull out the mesh filter.

    • The mesh filter is the one you can clean.

    • Do not clean the paper filter. That filter cannot be cleaned and needs to be replaced every 3-6 months.

    • Tap the dust out of the mesh filter into the waste basket.

    • Use a cloth to wipe out any additional dirt and dust from the filter.

    • For a deep clean, rinse the filter with cold or lukewarm water. Do not use hot water as this may damage the filter. Wait 24 hours until the filter is completely dry before putting it back in the vacuum.

    • Reassembling the vacuum with the mesh filter still wet may damage it.

To reassemble the vaccuum, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Make sure the plastic nozzle is completely sealed or the vacuum will not power on.
