Introduction
Use this guide to replace the L1 and R1 shoulder buttons in a Retroid Pocket Flip handheld gaming console. These buttons are located along the top edge of the device and provide additional input during gameplay. If a shoulder button becomes unresponsive, feels loose, or no longer clicks properly, it may need to be replaced.
This guide applies only to the L1 and R1 buttons as L2 and R2 cannot be removed.
This repair is relatively simple but requires opening the device.
Before beginning, power off the device completely and remove the microSD card. Battery removal is required before accessing the shoulder buttons. Follow Electrostatic Discharge when working inside the device to prevent damage to internal components.
