Repairing a PSP (PlayStation Portable) UMD Case

Introduction

This guide is to repair the UMD case that protects the UMD disc, not for the disc itself. Follow this guide if your UMD case is coming apart because it is old, or was accidentally cracked.

Before starting this guide you will need the required tools and your broken UMD case.

What you need

Apply multi-purpose glue to the tip of the toothpick.

Carefully apply the glue that is on the toothpick to the inside of the UMD case, along the white edge where it is cracked or coming apart, making sure not to get any glue on the PSP game disc.
Repeat this step and step 1 until glue is applied along the inside edge of the UMD case.

Close the two edges of the case firmly together.

Wipe away any excess glue.

Set something heavy, but not too heavy that it’ll break the game, on top of the UMD disc case.

Let sit until glue is dry.
