What you need

      • The USB memory stick is getting loose. The protruding metal part slides back and forth. One day, you are unable to insert it properly and read it.

      • Open the two plastic halves by a cutter. It may a bit destructive depending on the model.

      • You will probably find a very small plastic part broken off. this part is designed to hold the entire card in translation. Its size and robustness are obviously grossly underestimated, as you can see here.

      • Hot glue gun will do the trick, fill the empty space to prevent the memory card from sliding.

      • Assemble again. Your disk is like a new!
