What you need

Before working on the device, make sure it is disconnected from the mains.

Step 2 The tools needed

Flat screwdriver
Pliers

Step 3 Locate the carbon brushes

Locate the carbon brushes on both sides.

Step 4 Disassembly

Unscrew the carbon brush recess cover.

Step 5 Removal of the carbon brushes

Remove the carbon brushes using pliers.

Step 6 Carbon brush replacement

Be careful to align the carbon brush guide lug in the well
Replace the carbon brush recess cover and screw it down.

Step 7 Replacement of the second carbon brush

Repeat the same previous operation on the other side.
