Extract the SIM and its tray. There is no adhesive on the edges of the back cover, only clips. Insert a prying tool starting from the SIM side, not the power button side, as the fingerprint reader cable is located there, as shown in the photos.

Then, continue along all the edges of the smartphone.

If the rubber seal that holds the power button and fingerprint reader in place comes off, pay attention to the two guides and insert the two holes there to lock it in the correct position.

Unscrew all the green screws and remove the plastic cover.

Disconnect the battery cable on the right first, and then the fingerprint cable indicated by the arrow.

Lift the two adhesive strips on the sides and use the "B" adhesive tab to help lift the battery.

In my case, they snapped, so I had to remove the battery by prying it out.

After removing the battery, since the new one had the same clear adhesive, I removed the adhesive that was left on the phone chassis under the old battery.

Install the new battery and reassemble everything by following the steps in reverse.
