Introduction
If your RedMax Brush Cutter BCZ3050S is not operating properly or sputtering, it might be time to replace your spark plug. A new spark plug ensures that your brush cutter is operating smoothly.
Machines in today’s age require multiple parts for them to function properly. Luckily for us, these brush cutters require far less parts than a car. The brush cutter and cars do have one important part in common. The part that they have in common is the spark plug. The spark plug is the ignition source for the brush cutter so it can be up and running to perform lawn activities.
Unlike vehicles, the brush cutter spark plugs are easily accessible to find and change. This is the guide to help you replace your spark plug so that you can be back to work in no time.
Before attempting to replace your spark plug with this guide, make sure to have the brush cutter cool off completely or cool off enough so that the machine is not warm to the touch.
What you need

Look for the black plastic cover with ridges on the top of the brush cutter. Your fingers should be enough to pull the plastic off, but you may use a flat head screwdriver instead.

Use a 3/8 in wrench to grip and twist the spark plug counterclockwise until it loosens and take it out.

Insert the new spark plug and twist it in a clockwise motion until it is tight.

Use the wrench or pliers and twist the spark plug in a clockwise direction to ensure a tight fit before placing the cover on top of the spark plug.

Attach the bottom of the plastic cover to the top of the spark plug.

Firmly push down on top of the spark plug with the cover. This is enough pressure to connect the new spark plug to the machine.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
