Introduction
The optical sensor for the Razer DeathAdder Chroma is a crucial component for the device’s operation. A critical failure of the optical sensor will necessarily require a replacement.
What you need

Disconnect the ribbon connector between the motherboard and the USB cable by pulling upward.
There are 2 tiny locking pins at the back you may need to spudge the connector casing a bit on each side to release these , I did.

-
Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove one 5.0 mm screw.
Does anyone know what the circuitry this screw holds in place does, I completely missed this tiny screw and accidently snapped the 2 soldered components off named D2 & D3… But the mouse still works fine ?? however i do not use razer synapse anymore so i dont know if its 100% working
