Introduction

If the power button is unresponsive, broken, or otherwise damaged, it may be time to replace the power button on your RCA tablet. This replacement guide will teach you how to properly open your device, remove the broken power button, and replace it with a new one.

What you need

  1. RCA RCT6378W2 Power Button Replacement, Remove the Outer Screws: step 1, image 1 of 2 RCA RCT6378W2 Power Button Replacement, Remove the Outer Screws: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Remove two 2.4mm x 4mm screws from bottom of the tablet with Phillips #00 Screwdriver.

    • Remove back cover with plastic opening tool, exposing the battery and motherboard.

    • Insert the power button into the button slot with the tweezers.
