Protocol Neo-Drone AP Motor Replacement

What you need

  1. Protocol Neo-Drone AP Motor Replacement, Motor: step 1, image 1 of 2 Protocol Neo-Drone AP Motor Replacement, Motor: step 1, image 2 of 2
    • Remove the four blades by pulling them off of the motors.

  2. Protocol Neo-Drone AP Motor Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the blade guards by pushing the guards downward towards the padded feet.

    • Remove the four 4.5mm Phillips #0 screws from the back panel.

    • Use the flat end of a spudger to pry apart the the two pieces.

    • Lift the back panel up to separate it from the front panel.

  5. Protocol Neo-Drone AP Motor Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Pull the four motors out of the case.

    • The motors are still soldered to the motherboard.

  6. Protocol Neo-Drone AP Motor Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1

    • Use a soldering iron to desolder the motors from the motherboard.
