ProScan PLT7223G Speakers Replacement

Introduction

If your ProScan's audio is not working, use this guide to replace the speakers. This guide will require soldering.

What you need

  1. ProScan PLT7223G Speakers Replacement, Speakers: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove both 4 mm screws on the top of the tablet with a PH00 screw driver.

    • Use the blue plastic opening tool to pry open the tablet.

    • You will hear popping sounds. That's okay.

    • Be careful when using the blue plastic opening tool on the side of the device near the speakers, as there is a wire here that connects the speakers to the motherboard.

    • Pull back the protective tape from the two wires that connect the speakers to the motherboard.

    • Use the soldering tool to remove speaker wires from motherboard.

    • Soldering tool will get hot, handle with care.

    • If needed use a plastic opening tool to remove speaker from the speaker port on the tablet.
