Stop your printer spitting out pages of gibberish! On Linux this is generally a driver issue.

Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.

Make sure the computer and printer are both switched on.

Linux Mint's stock software "store" has the Epson driver easily available. Search "epson" and the driver should come up as one of, if not the first option.

Click Install. Type in the superuser password it asks for (depending on how your account is set up, this may be your own password or an admin's password).
