Place the PowerBook Duo 230 on a clean table and prepare a Torx T8 screwdriver.

Push in the button as far as it will go.

Press and hold the button then simultaneously slide the battery cover to the left.

For greater security, you can now remove the battery.

Turn your PowerBook over and open it.

Now you have to lift up the keyboard. Lift the keyboard by the upper part.

Disconnect the keyboard from the Logicboard.

Now you need to move the small levers in every corner up. Be careful, small parts can break easily!

Gently pull out the flex cable.

Follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble your device.
