What you need

  1. PlayStation 4 Hard Drive Replacement, Hard Drive: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Start by turning off your PS4 and unplugging the AC power cord. Slide the HDD bay cover (the top left portion of the console) to the left.

  2. PlayStation 4 Hard Drive Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the Hard Drive by unscrewing the single 5mm Phillips head #1 screw on the front left side of the PS4.

  3. PlayStation 4 Hard Drive Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Slide the hard drive forward to remove it.

  4. PlayStation 4 Hard Drive Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the four screws from the sides of the hard drive case. There are two identical screws on the opposite side.

  5. PlayStation 4 Hard Drive Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the hard drive from the sleeve.

Conclusion
