Introduction

You can use this method if you can't eject the stuck disk by the eject button and the eject hole. The PS3 slim on this video is model CECH-300X.

  1. Disconnect all cables. You have 4x Torx T8 screws and 7x Phillips screws. Now you can remove outer case.

    • First remove the spindle disc magnet. Now use plastic tool and slowly extrude the disk from inside.

    • Test the console before assembling. And don't forget to put the spindle disc magnet.

    I did this and turns out my kids had shoved 4 disc in there . Anyway got it working like takes the disc and ejects fine but won’t read the disc and makes a wierd clicking sound . I have filmed it what it does trying to read the disc please help!!! Or is it a lost cause and just buy a new system . I’m a lady not that tech savvy
