  1. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Slide the Lefthand Strap: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Slide the lefthand portion of the elastic headband into the middle opening on the mount.

  2. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Remove the Lefthand Strap: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Pull the lefthand portion of the elastic strap through the middle opening.

  3. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Slide the Top Strap: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Slide the top portion of the elastic strap into the middle opening of the top bracket on the mount.

  4. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Remove the Top Strap: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Pull the top portion of the elastic strap through the top bracket on the mount.

  5. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Slide the Righthand-Upper Strap: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Slide the top layer of the righthand elastic strap into the middle bracket on the mount.

  6. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Remove the Righthand-Upper Strap: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • Pull the top of the righthand strap through the middle bracket on the mount.

  7. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Slide the Righthand-Lower Strap: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Slide the bottom of the righthand elastic strap into the middle bracket on the mount.

  8. Petzl E03 050 Headlamp Elastic Strap Replacement, Remove the Righthand-Lower Strap: step 8, image 1 of 1
    • Pull the bottom of the righthand strap through the middle bracket on the mount. The strap should now be completely free from the mount.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order using your replacement Petzl elastic headband.

Any idea of how to replace the headband when my model doesn’t have those handy dandy slits in the brackets?
