Worked great. Was able to fully remove the battery from my wife’s original dead Pebble Round. I did lose one of the tiny springs cause man those things are tiny and springy…
Great guide! Very detailed and informative. Here is a replacement battery for the Pebble Time Round:
Pebble Time Round Battery SP301618AE
It comes with all the necessary tools and carries a 1 year replacement warranty!
Battery problem 😞
I have followed each of these steps but my watch will not take a charge. It boots to a screen with a plug pointing to lightning and won’t display anything else. Have I done something wrong when reconnecting the battery or is the battery not viable?
Worked great, thanks! Ideally the battery would come with a bit of tape or something to hold the contacts down (the existing tape comes up with the battery, at least for me), as otherwise it's just kinda floating in mid-air and you have to hope it seats correctly when the board is screwed back down...
... but it did work, so that's a rather minor complaint. It's stunning that this is still by far the most responsive smart-watch I've ever used, but it very clearly still is, and I'm glad to have it back <3
