Bring back to life your Parrot FLYPAD with a brand new battery.

This guide will assist you to correctly dismantle the controller, so that you may easily replace the battery. To prevent any loss of screws, it is important to utilize a magnetic mat to be placed under the controller.

  • Total of 6 Screws are located in the back of the controller.

  • Use the Magnetic Mat to prevent loss of screws

  • Four 0.9mm T6 screws

  • Two 0.1mm T6 screws

  • To remove the six screws, use screwdriver T6

  • The bottom left and right are longer screws

  • In order to proceed in replacing the battery, two screws have to be removed from the battery cover.

  • Two 0.7mm PH0 screws

  • Remove the following screws that secure the plastic battery connector to the controller using the Phillip PH0 screwdriver

  • Make sure to separate plastic cover from battery after unscrewing the two screws.

  • Use fingers to gently detach the battery from its motherboard.

  • Attach the wire connection from the new battery to the motherboard with fingers.
