Pantech CDM8975 Keyboard Replacement

What you need

  1. Pantech CDM8975 Keyboard Replacement, Keyboard: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the battery.

    • Remove four Phillips screws.

  2. Pantech CDM8975 Keyboard Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Pry up the plastic layer with a plastic opening tool.

    • NOTE: Be careful that you do not separate the two plastic parts completely they are fragile and may break if pulled too hard.

  3. Pantech CDM8975 Keyboard Replacement, Remove Keyboard: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Slide out the keyboard carefully in between the two layers.

  4. Pantech CDM8975 Keyboard Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Insert the new keyboard in between the two layers carefully.

  5. Pantech CDM8975 Keyboard Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Check if the edges are perfectly aligned between the two plastic layers after you insert the keyboard.

  6. Pantech CDM8975 Keyboard Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • Press the two plastic layers back together.

    • Reinsert the four screws and place the battery and cover back.

Conclusion

You now have a new keyboard.
