Is your blade not spinning when you turn on your device, even when you hear the motor run? Check out this guide to replace your motor shaft.

  • Remove the dark transparent cap by gently pulling on it.

  • Remove the back battery cap from the device by twisting it to the unlock position and pulling.

  • Remove the black trimmer cap from the top of the device by gently pulling it.

Image 1/1: Use the metal prying tool to pry apart the silver plastic case .
  • The motor shaft should be sticking out from the top of the device.

  • Use the metal prying tool to pry apart the silver plastic case .

  • Pull each side of the plastic case off.

  • Unscrew one 20mm Phillips #00 screw.

  • Remove the rubber stopper from the top of the motor shaft by gently pulling it off.

  • Use a pair of tweezers to remove the plastic cover of the motor shaft by pulling it away from the motor.
