The red line is the positive line
-
The orange and light blue lines are the data lines.
-
Components are named as D (diode), C (capacitor), or L (coil).
-
-
-
Neither the positive line nor the data lines should show continuity to ground (GND) when measured with a multimeter. That would indicate a short circuit, which can typically be caused by: 1) the charging port; 2) a diode; 3) a capacitor.
-
If your charging board has a short circuit on any of these 3 lines, simply spray isopropyl alcohol on it (being careful that the alcohol does not enter the microphone hole, otherwise it will be damaged) and connect the charger to the USB-C port.
-
The component causing the short circuit will be the first one to evaporate the alcohol on it.
-
Proceed to remove the component using a soldering iron or heat gun.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
