Introduction
Replacing the joystick covers will enhance productivity and result in more accurate outputs. In the steps provided below, we have shown you how to efficiently remove and replace the joystick covers.
What you need

Insert an opening tool in the gap between the rear and front case.

Pry around the perimeter until the front case releases.

Remove the front case.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Helpful and clear instructions given by the Author. Although an opening tool is definitely overkill for removing the faceplate as it's held on by a few magnets and requires little effort. If the faceplate doesn't come off easily it's probably because you need to remove the circular D-Pad (which the Author mentions in Step 1 - "i")
