Nice to see that, thanx !

But do you know where it's possible to buy a new battery ?

I see "designed by oneplus" on it and I'm not sure it would be easy to find one on internet usual stores.

You can look up a oneplus service center in your country/locality by going to your country's version of the oneplus site. There in the support -->Contact Us, you will find a list of places(service centers) you can go for repairs and a price list of all the parts and the service to replace them. Not sure if this works for every country, worked for me.

Hey, could anyone please send me a link to where you bought the battery from.?

I’ve recently bought one on and it did not fit. Took for ages to deliver to Poland and then I had to pay for the return cost.

You can get a replacement battery from “ www dot witrigs dot com/accessories-for-oneplus-two”. Can’t put the link in as the automated spam system blocks it. You can also find it on ebay if you’ll search for “Replace for OnePlus Two 2 A002 Blp597 3300mah Internal Battery”

Hope it helps

Hi, after a couple of years my oneplus 2 started to had a really bad battery life so I ordered an original battery and replaced it with your manual. Thanks at first place for this detailed instructions. Sadly it starts to boot up and then immediately turns off. Then it restarts and there is the message shown that the device temperature is to high. Does anyone of you has an idea what this could cause? I was very careful while changing the battery. Thanks in advance

My replacement battery was via Amazon but there are plenty on ebay too. Two commentd - the third “screw cover” red circle from the top is in the wrong place, it should be lower and left of the camera. Slightly more scarily, the battery connector is in the wrong place by a millimter or two, it was the same on the original battery - you need to gently peel the red covering from over the cable to the connector to give it a little extra flexibility.

Thanks for the tip about the screw cover markings; I went ahead and adjusted them so they should be correct now. Looks like someone was in a bit of a hurry when they placed those :p

How hard do you have to pry to free the battery?

I pried hard and the battery bent slightly but seemed to be almost integrated with the frame?
