Onda VI10 Speaker Replacement

Introduction

This guide will teach you how to remove the speakers for the Onda VI10.

What you need

  1. Onda VI10 Speaker Replacement, Speaker: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Use a number 0 screw driver to remove the four screws.

    • Power Button on the side should be pointing outward.

    • Note: This is so the ribbon cables inside are not damaged.

    • Locate the black and red speaker wires going back to the mother board.

    • Note: Speaker wires may run underneath the battery wires.

    • Carefully remove the speaker cables from the retaining tabs using a thin metal spudger.

    • Pry the speaker out of its molding using a thin metal spudger

    • Desolder the two speaker wires from the motherboard using a soldering iron.

    • Caution: Soldering Iron is extremely hot.
