Nokia 8260 Microphone Replacement

Turn off the cell phone.

Press down on the round button on the back cover of the phone.

Slide the back cover down while still pressing the button.

Remove the back cover.

Press the end of the battery towards the top of the phone.

Lift the battery outwards while still pressing it upwards till it pops out.

Squeeze the flat end of the spudger into the crack right under the word "Nokia" on the back of the phone.

Pry open the antenna door by pulling down the top of the spudger

Remove the antenna door.

If the gold antenna remained stuck to the door, you have finished removing the antenna from the phone.

If the gold antenna is still in the phone, carefully remove it and stick it onto the back of the door.

Remove the five screws with the Torx Screwdriver: two near the bottom, two in the middle, and one under the antenna door.

Remove the back covering.

Remove the two screws at the top.

Remove the metal plating and the circuit board.

Remove the plastic border lying on the keypad.

Remove the keypad.

Remove the microphone.
