Introduction

If you’d like to replace your Nissan Versa Note’s media/navigation/radio system, this guide will show you the removal process. Ensure that your car’s engine and battery (accessory mode) are off before trying the replacement. If you plan on discarding the media system, you should locate your local recycling center as this device should not be simply thrown into the garbage.

  1. Ensure that the car is turned off.

  4. Using your fingers, start from the top of the panel and move down on either side to pry the panel open.   8. Carefully pull out the media system and turn it over so that the cables on its rear are visible. Use your hands to pinch the tabs and gently pull out each cable.

  9. Now the media system is completely free from the car. Using a T10 Torx screwdriver, unscrew the four screws on either side of the media system. Using a T10 Torx screwdriver, unscrew the four screws on either side of the media system.
