Introduction
If you need to replace a part within the Dewalt DCD778 then you need to remove the outer shell of the drill. By following this guide you will know how to take apart the outer casing to access the internal components of the drill that you wish to replace.
What you need

Compress the button on front side of the battery and move the drill and battery away from each other.

Remove the battery from drill by sliding the battery outwards away from the drill.
