What you need

1. Step 1 Disconnect the button board
  Use the point of a spudger to flip up the locking flap on the button board cable ZIF connector, located next to the battery on the console's board.

  Use tweezers or your fingers to gently pull the cable out of its connector.

4. Step 3 Free the button board cable
  Slide an opening pick underneath the button board cable to separate the adhesive securing it to the frame.

5. Step 4 Remove the button board
  Lift the button board to remove it.
