What you need

    • Face the coffee machine in front of you.

    • Make sure that the coffee machine is unplugged.

    • Remove the glass carafe as it will not be needed.

    • Firmly grab the tab sticking out from the head of the brewer.

    • With little force, pull the tab of the brewer head in reverse direction.

    • Slide off the head in the direction away from the machine.

    • If the head does not come off smoothly by sliding, give a firm tug in the same direction.

    • Hold the head in the same position and lift it forward until the Ninja is facing upward toward the ceiling.

    • Now the brewer head is positioned to where you can seeing the bottom.

    • Remove the screw with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Use Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Along will come a small black screw cover and spring

    • Twist the black lid on top clockwise until it is completely detached.

    • With the black upper lid detached, a smaller black cover can be removed without effort.

    • Remove the 6 screws from the seal with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Once all screws are detached from the brewer head, it will be separated into two pieces leaving the filter.
