Nikon Coolpix S6800 Battery Replacement

Introduction

Replacing/ removing the battery is an essential first step when making any repairs to your camera.

  1. Nikon Coolpix S6800 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Open the battery cover by lightly pushing on the cover and sliding it forward

    • Slide the yellow holding tab toward the back face of the camera

    • Remove the battery

    NOTE: Device will only get power from the battery if it is re-installed correctly. Make sure when inserting the new battery, the gold colored slots on one side of the battery match up with the prongs inside the battery port.
