Nikon Coolpix L810 Flash Replacement

Introduction

Is your flash not lighting up? This guide will show you how to replace the flash from your camera.

What you need

  1. Nikon Coolpix L810 Flash Replacement, Flash: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove two 5 mm Phillips #000 screws below the flash component.

    • In order to complete this step the flash must be open. To open the flash press the button located above the lens on the leftward side of the camera.

    • Use blue plastic opening tool to pry open the casing for the flash.

    • Remove the plastic casing surrounding the flash.

    • Pull the wires connecting the flash out of the camera.

    • Unsolder the wires that connect the flash component.

the heading says no parts required. but I think i need a new flashbulb? any idea what the type is or where to buy it ?
