1. Step 1 Open housing
  Turn off the device before attempting to open it.
  
  Unscrew the 4 small Phillips screws on the back of the unit.

2. Step 2 Open housing
  Carefully insert a solid, flat object between the front and back of the case.
  
  Move this object carefully between the housing parts to separate them.

3. Step 3 Removing the back of the housing
  The soldering points of the speaker on the back are slightly detached.
  
  Untie the front and back sides and place them on a smooth surface.

5. Step 4 Disconnect the cable from the circuit board
  Flip up the two clamps that hold the flat cables up to release them.
  
  Carefully pull out the flat cables.
  
  Unplug the cable on the bottom of the tablet.
  
  The white cable at the top sits very tight, possibly use a small pair of pliers to help.

6. Step 5 Release the board from the housing
  Turn the 3 small Phillips screws out of the board.

7. Step 6 Disconnect the battery
  Using a spatula, remove the glue between the battery and the screen.
  
  The battery is soldered only with very thin solder points on the board.

8. Step 7 Remove the screen
  Take the board and the battery out of the case.
  
  The screen can now be removed.
