Newport e360 Oxygen Sensor Replacement

What you need

  1. Newport e360 Oxygen Sensor  Replacement, Oxygen Sensor: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Turn off ventilator before starting this repair.

    • Shut off or disconnect the air and oxygen gas supplies before starting this repair.

  2. Newport e360 Oxygen Sensor  Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • To avoid damaging equipment, always use standard electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions

    • Put on an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves

  3. Newport e360 Oxygen Sensor  Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the 2 screws (phillips size 1) securing DOR2112M to the front of the e360 ventilator.

    • Pull back the cover to gain access to the oxygen sensor

  4. Newport e360 Oxygen Sensor  Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the Oxygen Sensor cable CBL2109A from the Oxygen Sensor R125P03-002 by unscrewing the connector on the cable

  5. Newport e360 Oxygen Sensor  Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the Oxygen Sensor by unscrewing the Oxygen Sensor counterclockwise.

    • If the Oxygen Sensor is installed too tightly to be removed, place a Newport reusable circuit on the oxygen sensor to obtain better friction while unscrewing the Oxygen Sensor.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
