Network Card

What you need

  1. Network Card, Bottom Cover: step 1, image 1 of 1
    Tool used on this step:
    iFixit Precision 4 mm Screwdriver Bit

    • Use a Philips J1 driver to remove eight screws securing the bottom case.

    • Remove all of the 8 screws and the bottom panel should pop off.

  2. Network Card: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • After that you are in and now can change most of the components, which we also have tutorials for.

    • Remove the screw with a Philips J1 driver.

    • Try to remove the cables by hand or if you really can't, then use a spudger to carefully pry them up.

    • After removing the screw and the cables, you can safely remove the network card.

  4. Network Card: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • If you need to change the Wireless card and nothing else then now is the time to do so.

    • After the previous step, you are good to go.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
